After graduating from Colby-Sawyer College, Amigo joined JPMorgan Chase in New York. He started off with a role in regulatory risk management and then moved to the Distressed Portfolio Workout team within the Investment Banking Division. During his stint at JPM, Amigo was responsible for managing a multimillion portfolio of national and global clients where his primary job was to underwrite loans, conduct company valuation, strategize maximum recovery on the distressed asset, and maintain strong relationship with the clients and other syndicate lenders. Through this experience, he has developed expertise and knowledge of global capital markets, restructuring and bankruptcies, financial modeling, and client relationship management.
Amigo has also interned in GE Capital in their Risk Management Department. In addition, because of his entrepreneurial nature, Amigo has founded and led many social impact projects in the past.
As an Investment Officer, Amigo is currently responsible for scouting prospective investees, conducting investment due diligence and valuation analysis, and consulting clients on business growth strategies.
